"No.1 Lighthouse Rock" is crafted using driftwood collected from Penarth Beach and draws inspiration from the iconic Flat Holm Lighthouse. The lighthouse itself is creatively fashioned from a vintage fishing rod I found at a car boot sale, adding a unique element to the piece. The seagulls featured in the design pay tribute to the many that nest on Flat Holm Island. This work was proudly showcased as part of my 2024 graduate show.
